Sure, but not originals, surely? Original Mannock's were machine- and hand-spliced only, weren't they?

I have seen one or two VERY old versions, which were undoubtedly double hand spliced.

These had butt diameters of about 34mm and VERY slim 'billiard' type tapers.

I'd like to see something like that one day. Closest I've come to one of those is the cue made by Trev you were selling Andrew!

These were VERY VERY old Keith, from the start of the last Century.

From what I was told, they were original Mannocks made before the design was sold onto B&W and had the name badge with 'Registered' placed on it.

The script was slightly different also, with a definite variation on the signature you see on the later Mannocks, from about 1905 onwards....I think.

Will get it out tomorrow Andrew, or perhaps Wednesday actually, as I might not be able to do it tomorrow.

I thought the original design was Mannock's and his cues were made as his design. No? I'm sure I read his patent on cues 'n' views and it specified the machine- and hand-spliced butt. Am I wrong or do I just not have all the elements in hand?
