Should be not a big thing to make a stamping cliche for this. I should have a vectorized image or a preprint pdf.
For 40 pcs a cheap etched magnesia cliche will do. Cost about 25 GBP.
The only thing is where to get the blanks in 15mm.
I could ask some of our suppliers or customers if they can provide them.
Or do you have a source for it?

I will check what I can do for you.
I am confused... Oh wait... Maybe I'm not...

Most of the nameplates (i.e. John Parris) are made this way.

It is blank plate of resin, plastic or wood. Then you need an etched or (better) engraved stamping cliche. A hotstamping foil is used to transfer the color from the foil to the plate.

My company is producing machines for this type of printing, you can see this prints almost everywhere around you...

If you are interested have a look to our homepage on www.hotstamping.de for further information.

If you would like to know more or need som advise please let me know.

Personally, I'd say John Parris badges are CNC engraved.

Acrylic is OK. And I agree that 15 mm is quite small. But it is no problem to stamp.
What color are the plates? And what color do you like to have for your writing?
On top of black and many plain colors you can have silver or gold in mat or glossy, red, blue, green, copper metallized.
                Even holographic foils are available.

I suggest glossy silver on black. Looks very noble...

Sounds good to me. I can get the acrylic any colour. They were going to supply them for laser engraving.

That would be by far the most expensive way to create a name plate in that big quantities he needs...

I had just now a closer look to my old JP. Well, could also be engraved.

You can send me a batch of different colors of acrylic and we can make you some alternatives. I then send you pictures of the samples and you can decide what you would like to have.
Once the cliche is made it is just a change of the foil.
