    Hi,

Does anybody have a list compiled of the various joints available from different use makers? I read about many joints but never know what each is... For example "Quick release sd joint"... What is this?

Any names and pics of joints would be great.

    Thanks.

I don't have any pics of joints but I can translate the above. A quick release s d joint is a mini-butt joint which is rapid to release! S D is for Steve Davis as this is what Parris called it as he says it was used first for Steve Davis on his cue. You can also call the joint a butt socket or a mini-butt joint, as you wish. Technically, only Parris cues have an s d joint as I think it's his copyright. Any other cue just has a mini-butt socket.

    Hope this helps.
