Talisman M laminated 9.5mm ferrel.
Shoulder is 6mm tall... like a ... pencil eraser or something.
Shaped it... starting to bed it in... any comments?

Will this work or should the cue tip not be so.... um.... erect?

I guess it works like a charm because Talisman tips are very, very stable.
Bad news if you like mushroomed tips... that just won't happen with this,
especially with a medium one.

Why will "mushroom" tips not happen with a talisman? Isn't a mushroom tip just an oversized tip... Why cant you do this with a talisman?

Ok, seems to be a matter of definition.

For me, a mushroomed tip is an oversized tip with it's edges "bent" backwards
due to the force applied whilst hitting the cue-ball. Sorry for that kinda jerky
explanation but my bad English won't allow for much more... I'm trying to get
back into it
