  • How much John Parris Cues to be advertised in the banner of this forum?

Really surrpised to see John Parris cues are advertised in the banner. Even such a well know cue is advertised here.

How much they are charged in favor of this?

TBH I was surprised when I saw it to. I know advertising is for anyone and any business but in this instance, I'm pretty sure every member of this website has heard of him and is aware of Parris cues. Still, would be nice if he could put his own input into the site like Mike and Trev do.

Well, even though we have heard of John Parris, but the banner I am sure will lead to some clicks to his web site, from lot of members whom might not go visit his web site otherwise.

Personally, I like this forum, and I think we should all support it. Ferret has put in a lot of money and time to make it the way it is. May be we should make an effort to click the banners, and show some support.

More banner ad is only going to help make this a better site, isn't it?

            I agree 100%
This is a forum dedicated to snooker.
And John Parris is a quite important part of the snooker world.
And maybe there is a chance to discuss all the issues mentioned in dozends of threads directly with him.
I am confused... Oh wait... Maybe I'm not...

A Short Story of Lust and Greed.

First with all that extra cash ... he'll want a Mike... then a John... then a Kevin... then a Will... then a Robert... and finally after watching from the sidelines... Kev gets a Trev.

              The End.

As said above yeah people have heard of John and his cues but there are stil a hell of alot of people who do not know the of his work, just look at some of the threads in the cues section.

A lot of club players do not know John, Trevor or Mike. Mow many snooker halls do you know that sell any of the three mentioned cue makers cues?

My local club, Jesters Snooker Hall in Swindon do not sell any of them, although they do sell a huge number of Cue Craft and BCE cues as these are cheap enough for them to stock so that is what they offer.

May be if the big three presented the clubs with a deal more clubs would offer the higher priced and better quality items.

I know that Jesters would probably sell cues from the big three if 1. they had a display cue for members to see and possibly try out and 2.if the big three were to offer a drop shipping system.

But at the end of the day is this really possible as cues made by the big three are custom made items so after you have put you flare and style into a cue's design it is going to be different form the cue you first tried out.

OK you can get a really good idea of the craftsmanship etc but the final product would be differant.

So may be a point to the big three, put some demo cues out there to a few select clubs and see if it can generate you any more business and get your names more well known with the average club player.

One doesn't have to be gay to want to play with the all the best cues in the world.

Quite. I thought it was funny too Rob...
wanting a "Mike" was a brand way of saying "Mike Wooldridge cue"... not "Mike Wooldridge willy".
Different strokes for different folks I guess...
As my Dear Old Dead Grandma used to say...
