  • converting 2 piece cue back to one piece

This may be an extremely daft question but i'll ask it anyway, a friend of mine has a two piece cue for sale, riley prize cue, it was obviously one pice originally but someone's put a centre joint in, is it possible in some way to remove the joint and fix the cue back together permamently as a one pice again, i appreciate there will be a line where it was cut but can it be done??

I know of someone who did that after having a problem with the joint. Don't know how they did it, and it didn't look all that great but apparently it played really well afterwards.
      Tear up that manure-fed astroturf!

It will be difficult to get the joints out without damaging the wood as they are glued in.
If you have managed that it might be possible to make a wooden bolt to connect the pieces.
But I do not think that it will look good and play properly.
I am confused... Oh wait... Maybe I'm not...

yeah that's what i was thinking, ofcourse an alternative would be to get one of the cue makers to replace the shaft

Assuming the joints can be removed then yes it can be done. No different to lengthening a cue using a dowling method rather than resplicing
Its not how well you play its how good you look playing that counts!
