Perhaps you can imagine it is a cue made by a new cue maker, but the work is good, and the hit is nice. Only problem is may be the resale value will not be good because he is an unknown.

I'd have to say around £100 - £150 depending on the woods used (but then i'm a tight g*t).
TBH it'll all be about be about building up a good reputation. So initially you won't get alot for a cue, but once the name is more established with a good reputation for playability and quality. The price people will pay, will go up.
That being said, the most expensive cue i ever bought was completely unplayable. Don't get me wrong it was a beautiful cue and the quality was fantastic, i just couldn't hit a thing with it. I ended up trading it with a guy from my pool team for a much cheaper & (imho) better playing cue.
In regards to building up a brand name. It would probably help a lot if you could afford to send one to someone very in the know (even if it was only for them to review and return to you).Andi Mack

Probably unnecessary but £150 tops until you have a name built up.
You can get a craftsman made for you like that for £145.
You could also get a Parris Classic like that for less than £300 so I would discount brettski's £300 as guide. Unless he's going to buy one from you of course.

Hi pooljunkie I'd pay about 300quid for a cue I can see and try for myself that has the kind of hit I like, regardless of the brand name, simply because it's hard to find that cue these days.
But if I can't see the cue in person and have to go by brand name then I'd agree with comments made by ADR or RGCirencester.
Good luck with the cues mateTear up that manure-fed astroturf!
