Cocobolo is nice but Dan's making me a cue with these two bits od Pau Rosa, so this could be the new favourite!!

I like cocobolo and snakewood. Would like TW to make me a one piece ash, with ebony and cocobolo, similar to the ones of his posted a bit back, with maple shafts, but ash instead for the shaft.

                I don't necessarily have a favourite wood, I do like burr-type.
My question is, sometime ago I saw across a snooker hall someone playing with a cue that had a splice of a bright/medium blue. I remember because I have never seen such a colour on a snooker cue.
It could have been painted but from the distance I was it did not have that look.
Any idea what the wood could have been?
                Maybe Burr-of-Dulux?
                All the best

Is it possible to use mango wood in a cue ?

I've got some lovely looking candle holders in this wood and the patterns are amazing.

Has anyone here got a cue with Kingwood on? I cant remember seeing a cue on here with it.

I have about 5 blocks and its lovely and wonder if anyone has a cue with it on.

I'm thinking of ordering an Osbourne, and I really would like to get some splices like this.

An I just being an idiot, and this is indeed rosewood?
