  • Most successful cues of all time.

Ok had this thought last night. What were the most successful cues of all time? Does not matter who played with them, various players could of used them over time. My thoughts would be the Burwat champion. Anyone else have any ideas? Would be nice to get a list and number of wins.

I personally vote for Hendrys old cue... Its one and only profesisonal appearance and it won nearly everything!

Yes the Burwatt champion probably won more as it was used by many players but it also lost more too.

As a production cue the Burwat Champ is peerless.

Ranking title successes, I would think would be powerglide probably with ye olde ash second.

Thorburn and Spencer used dufferin or adams.

Parris will be rapidly catching up, Trevor White must have notched a couple by now and Northwest, I think might just have won a world title.

The northwest cue John Higgins uses has helped win him two worlds but in truth, it ain't so much the cue as the player so this thread makes little sense.

I know its the players, but whats wrong with seeing what their "tools of their trade" are?

Hunt&O'Byrne - i believe John Parrott won the World Championship with one, plus Jimmy White used one for a number of years.

Yes sorry tox, ok well the Burwatt Champion, John Parris traditional are two very popular styles of cue. Although, if you mean successful in terms of looks then I would probably go for three JP Mannock, or the Tom Newman cue that Murphy uses or the old Joe Davis Riley 138-147 Tomestone badged cue because these are beautiful cues.

My favorite would be the Tom Newman 1370

Joe Davis' Peradon cue. He was world champion for 20 years and unbeaten. Surely we must not forget him.
