I agree with everything you've said. Just personally if I ordered a replica cue I would like the badge to say who made it thats all.

Good luck with the cue anyways it looks a beauty

I love the grains of the tulip. Very nice cue.
By the way, how do you get the picture to show up so big right away?
If I attach a picture, it usually shows up at the bottom of the post requiring the viewer to click it to enlarge?

I gotta tell you this is one of the most beautiful cues I have ever seen It is absolutely perfect!
And to my opinion you got it just right an old looking cue with a modern spec’s.

Whats more it plays well, I gave Tony Glover my specs for the shaft taper and he has got it perfect.

Stunning cue, am very interested by the above comments especially in so far as the reduction to 9mm, do you play with a particularly slim taper?

Very nice cue, I have never had a cue made by this chap Mr Glover but he obviously knows his stuff, is he a member on here?
                Where is his workshop?

I dont play with a particulary thin taper. It is more that 99% of old cues, by old I mean pre-1945, have shafts that tend to be whippy with a 10mm+ tip size. If I was to take this down to a 9mm tip size I would have to blend the taper in along at least 12-18 inches of the shaft which would make it even more whippy.
The old cues were used more for Billiards which doesnt require the same stiffness of the shaft due to the nature of the shots played, ie very few screw and power type shots.

Tony Glover is not a member on here, he is based in Moria, Derbyshire. Tony has been one of the worlds finest cue makers for over 20 years.
