When he sends the cue out you receive all the necessary customs documentation, including a paper with the value of the item on it, which could be classed as a receipt, if I remember correctly. I suppose the easiest way would be to ask Trevor specifically to include a receipt in the doc he'll send, no?

that looks like a really nice cue
but im thinkin about to get a 3quarter because its more kinda portable for me...
but i also know that 1piece is good so im not tooo sure....
what veneer and splice is the butt??
      its realllly pretty
Splices are pink ivory over thin white veneer with ebony over thin white veneer. Very nice and tasteful, IMO.

damn.... i wanted like 4 flash cocobolo butt and with holly veneers
        hope thats cheap...
If the cue's to be ebony butt with 4 cocobolo splices over holly veneers then it shouldn't be £400, more like £380 max. However, if you want to add extension + mini-butt then you'd be over the 400 easily. A Tony Glover cue with the same splices and veneers should be just about the same price, within about £10 or so ...

To be honest, you'll get the same quality of cue from both craftsmen, for about the same price, however, the lead time is not the same at the moment: I know that it'll take about 20 weeks to get a TW, but only about 8 for a TG. The only real difference between the two is in their finish: Trevor's finish is smooth and shiny, like a mirror, and you can't really feel the wood, whereas Tony's is a more natural, woody-feeling finish. It really depends on what you prefer.

but i dont reallly understand what u mean about the 1piece cue joint??
do u think u have a picture for me??
and for the difference in the finish of TG and TW
i saw tony glovers cue overseas and the finish is excellent as welll
if the time for the cuemakers have such a big difference then i might as well
go for the tony glover bcuz i know his cues are brilliant as well~~

What I mean is a cue, made as a 1 piece, then jointed above the splices, so that the join is about 19 or 20" from the butt end. As far as I'm concerned, I like both TG and TW's finishes, they're both great, it just depends on what you prefer in a cue: to feel the wood or not. If you really like to feel the wood and its grain, then TG is the man for you!

Honestly, TG's work is just as good as TW's, and you won't be disappointed by either maker's cues, and if you like the TG cue you already saw, then you know what to expect. Trevor's work is excellent, and, for some reason, he's very popular on TSF, but, and Trev'd be the first to say this, he's not the only cuemaker who can make a good cue, which is all you need. So, if it's a TW or a TG or a JP or a MW or a RC or a DC etc then it doesn't matter, all that matters is that it's a good, solid, reliable cue that will play consistently for you.

If you want to contact Tony, then he's available on 0044 1283 550551 or you can mail him on glovercue at aol dot com.

I'd agree with that, I love the feel of wood. Hope you enjoy your cue when you get it and remember to post pictures for us all to see!

No worries, dude. Glad I could help. It's always better when you can speak to someone who's tried both, eh?
Good luck for contacting him, I'm afraid I can't really help about the time difference! Lol

If you want to see pics of a cue spliced above the splices, send me your email address and I'll send some off; I can't do it on here, as I don't know how. Duh!
