Marco, dude, are you on something?!? I'm just wondering, you understand ...

Btw, you're right, TG's badge is the best, IMO. It gives his cues a really classy look.

Don't be too shocked, you are getting something sutom made from a quality cuemaker. Does the 395 include butt/extension?

Also, ask him about if he alters the price on the invoice so you won't have to pay customs/duty tax - or at least a minimal amount.

BTW, what cue are you using now?

nahh.. its just the cue itself
          without extensions and without postage...
then if added postage ... i dunno how much that will cost
so i am pretty shocked lol...

Probably not mate. TBH with you, I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone to do that for that price. Maybe you might have to simplify your butt.

It's the 4 splices that are putting the cost up, that's what he means, especially as it's cocobolo which is expensive. Another idea would be an ebony butt with one cocobolo splice over a holly veneer, or why not a cocobolo butt? Cocobolo is a good, dense, hard wood which makes a good butt, so it's a cheaper way of getting a beautiful cue.

Apart from that, RGC's idea is not a bad one at all, as Robin's a great cuemaker, and his prices are slightly cheaper than Tony's, so I'm sure he'll make you the cue you want with the 4 veneers for about ÂŁ330, something like that, BUT he's very busy at the mo, and it'll take about 12 weeks to build the cue, NOT including his holidays, which are in July, I believe, so it'll probably take about 16 weeks all in.
