There is a cue collector called David Smith. Check out his website:
      http://www.cuesnviews.co.uk/
The folllowing website has a gallery of old collectible cues.

Like the guy said in the previous comment avoid any of the cheap endorsed cues from BCE/Riley. They will never become collector's pieces. In fact most people on this forum would say that they are basically firewood.

I am quite confident that those limited edition cues from Parris, "Thee Old ash" from Dave Coutts, "Geeth Sethi" from Robin Cook will be collectables.

Also the Hunt & Osborne Black plates and Parris Ultimates.
Ah, and the cues from Trevor White with the MAST badge.
I am confused... Oh wait... Maybe I'm not...

Has anyone got any pics of "Thee Old ash" by Dave Coutts they could post? Also does he have a website?

Unfortunately the picture of the Thee Old Ash has vanished from the website.
But it is a shaft from really really old ash with an ebony butt, maple veneer and a splice of highly figured walnut.

How about the old John Parris with the postal code, hand spliced, or some other names such as challenger that is not avaliable anymore?

                        Collectable cues of the future

HI I am from Canada and i have a few Brunswick Snooker Cues Trophy two piece cues. The Great George Chenier of Canada had one of these cues which were Made by the Brunswick Company of Canada with a maple shaft and ebony Butt. In the sixtys and seventys these cues sold at $17.00 cdn and these days a cue would sell between $300.00 and $500.cdn dollars.

Another cue that i have is a Tom Gauthier Snooker Cue maple shaft and in the seventys this cue sold for $700.00 cdn and in todays market this cue would be worth between $1000.00 and $2000.00 cdn dollars

                        Leonard from Canada

I saw one before that had a butt made of some brown wood may be rosewood, not ebony. It says Challenger on the butt, the guy said it was Allison Fisher's cue at one time.
