So, as some peeps know I've been attempting to make cue shafts with little more then a table saw and hand plane - bloody hard work it is too! Despite the difficulties I'm really enjoying the process and learn a little more each time.
It would be very nice though to get some feedback or advice from those of you with more experience. Be it how one would break down the process into smaller steps, different approaches, tools or just handy hints - a nudge in the right direction perhaps

I realise that perhaps such things are closely guarded, seen in a way as a 'passage of rights', which following my experiences to date I can completely empathise with.
In turn if anyone else has ambitions to try their hand drop me a line and I'll be only too happy to share what little technique and approaches I've settled on thus far.
