  • how do you remove the Cue weights?

    i just got a cue that i want to try playing pool with but its to heavy how do i take the weights out
    its a QUALITY cue so i dont want to balls it up

    They're usually lead, and can be drilled out, send to craftsman, I've had a few done and they were spot on and they didn't charge much

        are the weights at the back end of the cue

          I should think they are at the balance point of a cue around 16" but I can't say for sure though .

            Most weight is lead right at the but of the cue or behind some dowling,so a drill and some skill it can be removed.
            Some times with joints etc. the weight is natural with no lead and heavy timber is removed and replaced with lighter dowling to achieve the required weight.
            Sometimes a metal detector can help

              adding weight is easy enough removing it though due to being glued ect will probably be trickier than you think ??
              best to practice on an old cue first !!!!

                i got a load of old cues to practice on this is a good cue so i dont know if i got the bottle if i have a go at it i will let you know trigger666
