good question Mike ... and I mean that honestly - it's nice to see you caring ...

at the moment, I don't intend to buy a new cue ... I have my £20 Cannon Scorpion for UK 8ball and my WPT "Welsh Dragon" for snooker and they do me fine for my very limited ability ...

I do hanker after one of your Shark series and I haven't ruled it out (birthdays and Xmas happen twice a year) but, if you don't mind, I'll tell you why I probably chose the WPT over the Shark ...

All from memory and I know figures are approximate (and you may have changed the spec) ...

                        Shark spec'd at 58", WD at 57.5" ... only a small difference and I'm 6' 1" but nevertheless 57.5" seemed better to me ...

Shark spec'd at 10mm tip, WD at 9.75mm - sounded better to me although actually the ferrule of the WD is 10.10mm as measured on a micrometer - which I'm happy with although I wouldn't mind a smidgeon less ...

Now to the important stuff ... both offered "phut" connectors, probably at the time you and WPT were both using the same kind of "phuts" although I did read a few months ago you were now fitting your own design of newly improved "phuts" ...

So what I think I'm saying is ...

                        57.5"
                        9.75mm
                        bigger phut

Can't fault the look of the Shark series though ... mean and lean ...

For me, just look in your order book...

                              1) 1pc, what else?
                              2) dark matured top grade ash,
                              with grain not artifically darkened,
natural to a bit thinner taper
                              3) extra long jet black plain ebony butt,
maybe just a single facing splice of an unusual wood,
                              maybe with a thin veneer
                              4) 57"
                              5) 9.5 mm
                              6) 17 - 18 oz
                              7) 29.5 mm
I am confused... Oh wait... Maybe I'm not...
