Ash but maple is fine, too, as long as it hits nice
Ebony with some snakewood or burl or pink ivory or bocote or olivewood or zirocote or cocobolo with some light color veneers such as maple. I also want a cue made with a unique piece of spalt maple with some nice dark patches, but not sure how it would go well with other woods, designs...

Woah, spalted maple is a great idea! I've seen that only on guitars so far but that would be really different as a shaft.

Would be interesting how it is about playablitity.
I am confused... Oh wait... Maybe I'm not...

                      • Just a cue made with splat maple splices, not the shaft.

                        • Oh , i thought instead of "or" after each wood you had put "and" , so the wood would have had like 8/9 woods which would make a very complex design so wanted to know what it would have looked like
