I've ordered the Tony Wilshaw cue mid february, cost was 300.-- including two extensions plus postage.

The Robin cue was ordered end of march, cost was the same.

Both cues plays quite similar in terms of life in the shaft. The Robin Cook is a bit more responsive and gives a better feedback.
I love the Robin cue as playing cue.

Both finishes are OK, the Wilshaw has a slighly better finish on the shaft, the Robin a better butt finish. But really neglectable differences.
I have the impression that both cue makers buy their ash from the same source but the ash Robin chose is a little bit better.

The splicing on both cues is really good.

To sum it up they are on the same level. But i prefer the Robin because of the nicer shaft and the long butt.

I agree. Robins badges are really nice with that robin and the brass ring. And perfectly fitted so you don't feel anything.
