Yes it can. Go to a cuemaker and he'll be able to fix it.

If you bought it from a shop or online retailer take/send it back. A cuemaker can repair it but I wouldn't bother if it is a cheap cue.

        Snooker cue crooked

HI Thanks for the reply i bought it on line from England its a Horace Lindrum cue with his picture on it and i paid gbp 100 or $200.00 canadian dollars. I was thinking of making a two piece cue with it and making a new shaft . would like an opinion on this thanks Leonard

If it that much I'd probably wouldn't give it to a cue maker and sending it back to England wouldn't be worthwhile money-wise either unless you can get them to give you free delivery or something?

If you bought it to experiment then don't worry all that much.

It would be a shame to cut up that cue and have a "Frankenstein". Although the Horace Lindrum picture cue isn't a particularly sought after cue, it would still be worth keeping it's originality..wouldn't it?

I am sure there are more than one way of doing this.
What I do is I would use a damp towel placed over the warp area(concave side up_and use an iron to likely iron it, so the concave side will expand and even out the warp.

Basically the idea (the way I see it, may be I am wrong) is to expand the concave area of the warp so it will expand and straighten out.
Using water and steam and heat can expand the wood around that area thus achieving the purpose.
You can use warm water or even cold, once you start to steam the area with your iron it will get warm.
You need to be careful because you do not want to overdo it.
You can also try to hang the cue afterward if you like.
