Hi!! I'm new to the forum, so first of all, a big HI to everyone!!
Ok, so I live in Sri Lanka, and have been playing for the better part of 2 years. My cousins got me a budget cue, which I am playing with at the moment. It's a pretty decent cue in most respects- its a cuecraft bulldog, 10mm tip, 2 piece (center jointed) cue. It plays ok, and the shaft is made with good grained ash. But the problem is that it's a bit forward balanced (i think the ash in the butt section is a lesser grade, and the splice is longer than average), and i cant get the feel of the shot. This dearly affects mainly my speed control, because when you cant feel the shot properly, you have to go by instinct, and it is difficult to guess and get it right!!
So i'm looking for a better cue. My friend will be able to bring one from UK, but the only problem is the budget.
I unfortunately cant afford anything in excess of GBP.60. I know this is WAYY too low to buy a good cue. Was wondering if anyone has any ideas. If i'm buying, i hope to get something of a good standard. I prefer a backward balanced, 9.5mm tip cue, possibly 3/4 jointed (but not fussy). I am totally willing to compromise on looks for playability. I was looking at a 2nd hand mastercue on ebay

60GBP is quite a bit for me (and chances are it will go above that!!), so i cant afford to experiment. But it is VERY tempting! It looks like a M5 which can be seen on the site,so any opinions??
Finally, seeing that i am unlikely to be able to get this anyways, i would appreciate advice on what my options are. Thanks!!
