Need tips on tips!!

I am always willing to experiment and will give that a try. Have you ever tried soaking them in milk, then compressing them?

The milk dud is firmer but I have found that it also feel very hard to the point whereas I cannot feel the shot at all.

It may be just that one tip. I think compressing on the vase really makes it harder for the tip to hold chalk, at least that is what I have found.

Microwaving it helps to firm the tip up. I used to do that and it would last me may be 4 months when I was playing several hours everyday.
