Nice cues, had one a few years ago, my mate has just bought one, not overly impressed with the joint though, quite poor to be honest, I'd get a 1 piece if I were you

I just bought one also and it's a 3/4 jointed one. The joint seems to be alright here. Maybe he should contact Dave if there's a problem? He's very helpful. I like my Mastercraft cue very much. :snooker:

mastercraft are a good honest company and, more importantly, nice people!

i'm sure if you had a problem, dave would sort it out.

Ye it's not a problem really, I didn't even mention it to my mate to be honest cause he's really happy with it. Just the plates are really thin and not at all flush with the wood. Probably doesn't make any difference to how it plays though
Didnt these guys used to make Lewis and Wilson when they were made in England?

It's a 3/4 black prince 21oz, with MW tip, I have not received it yet, only ordered it this week, Dave said 3 weeks, so once I get I will post pics. so far the service has been excellent, gave me the MW tip for free. I only play once a weekend so for the price i thought it was pretty decent, I had a friend who had one and it played lovely.

Mastercraft make some very good 1 piece cues, I have seen about 12 3/4 cues they have produced and the splicing on every one of them was poor

How come the splicing was bad only one 3/4 cues ? I mean if the maker has bad splicing technique then it'd be bad whether its 1 piece or 3/4th ? no ?
