cue spec's of the top snooker pro's

What are the cue spec's amongst the top snooker pro's ie. ferrul size and weight of their cues.

There is a difference between who has made their cues and what they specs are.

The reason i am asking this question is to find out why majority of the mass produced cues these days are with spec's of 9.5mm tip and weight of 18 - 18.5oz,dont they produce cues with bigger ferrul's and lighter weights anymore ?? or am i the only snooker player who likes bigger tips and lighter cues.

No I think quite a few Pros have bigger tips and lighter cues. But you know the optimum size might depend on the individual peice of wood. My mate had a nice Ye Olde Ash with 10mm tip he used for pool and it was really responsive.

It may be that modern ash is different to the older stuff. Perhaps it's stiffer, and that's why 9.5 is better than 10mm for modern cues? Stu Green of GBL is a former snooker pro and he seems to think 9.5 and 18-19 oz is ideal for getting into the white.
