I would love to see reversed splice on a one piece cue, any pictures?

I would guess that he makes the reverse splices on wood splices that he is going to splice on the cue regular side up, then he just splices them on normally.

You can always do this type of work as inlays with some kind of pantograph or CNC I guess.

With butterfly splices, reverse point is possible.

what kind of prices would he be charging if you dont mind me asking. lets say for a plain ebony, then 4 secondary splices of kingwood/thuya burr with maple veneers?

Got a quote yesterday for my custom order. Should compare to your specs more comfortably. 3/4 Ash/Maple, 26.5, 10, 17, 27, 12-splices normal, will cost me US$150 pick up. 'SAME' quality with Omin's. Hope this helps

For Air delivery, ask them to send by 'Registered Air' = Normal Aircost + 55 Baht (1 british pound equivalent) for Registeration sign-for charge. Should not be that expensive. This process is acceptable if well packed.

Hi Unclevit, These cues look very fancy. For me, I think it is ok for the reverse design Although it looks strange at first sight but will get used to it later on. The most important thing is the quality of the cue maker and shaft. I had found "Jim" over the net before via tarad dot com. Another guy that I found is "Saeng" cue maker. As I am living in Phuket, I don't have chance much to visit their workshop. It is good if you can let us know later.

poolqjunkie : Don't know. People call him Jim. His cues bear 'Siam' on the badge. Have not yet talked to him, just only his Mother (who gave me lots of quality information + best pick up price + best return condition) and Wife (who invites me to visit the factory and pick the woods by myself to reassure the quality I am getting)
