Accurate vs LP cues

As we all know, Accurate cues are made by LP cues in China. I am wondering if they have the same quality, or is one better than the other?
Since I was told that LP cues have different grades, I am sure the lowest grade is likely rubbish.
But what about top grade LP, is it better or worst than a Accurate cue in terms of craftsmanship?
A lot of members here are of the opinion that China makes no good cue, does that include Accurate?
Does Accurate somehow manage to buy something from Lp which is much better than anything ever made by LP?
Anyone knows?

Can't answer your question, but I use an Acuerate and I like it but I don't LOVE it like I should! That's why I'm looking for something, ANYTHING that I love.

The Acuerate seems to be well put together, good joint and good balance but I also notice you only really get one type of butt with the green and maple (I think it's maple) splices on ebony (or at least I think it's ebony but I'm no expert). Including Stephen Hendry's I've seen about 6 of them and they all look exactly the same as mine!

I'll have to check and see if LP has a website and see what they have and what they charge and compare that to what I paid for my Acuerate and see if I got ripped off!

This is one of my problems with them, they're whole gimmick is every signle one loks and performs exactly the same... Now what i you don't like how they perform? Unless you start playing snooker with one its always going to be you either like it or don't.

Can't comment on the whole Acuerate made by LP though but I do think they are overpriced.

Well, I am not trying to say that it is a rip off. From what Brother 4 told me, some of the LP cues are in the 250 pounds and above range, and they are supposed to be the best cues made in China.

I also think that if you can get a cue which you feel is like an extension to your arm, you cannot put a price tag on it.

I am just asking about the quality as in "is it just like the Chinese cues we see on ebay?" or "does it look and feel like a well made soild production cue worth the price they are asking?"

Some people as I understand it may buy the cue for the "performance" alone--just like in 9 ball lots of people spend USD$200 to buy a Predator shaft which is made in China--and they are very happy with that. I personally do not think they got rip off.

The concept is like iphone,Designed by Apple in California,but Assembled in China.

There is lot of people request a "WOOD" which is cheap,useful and CAN PLAY SNOOKER.So the lower grade LP is suit for them.A beginner will not use a H&O or Deroo to be their 1st cue.^^

The grade of LP is not depends on the splice,they all depends on the WOOD.
FYI,I personally think: Master is a cheaper JohnParris,then LP is a cheaper Master.Under 250GBP,LP will win Master.but Over 250GBP,I think Master will win LP.

I agree, it is like Predator cue for American 9 ball. People will pay over USD$1000 for a cue that they know is mass produced in China; but they believe they are paying for the "technology" behind the product, designed in Florida, USA.
So, how would you grade an Acuerate by the LP system?
What price range would the Acuerate cue fall into if it was sold as a LP?

I think LP in china just like JohnParris in UK , but the other brand cues are good quality like MW , Trevor white ,Hunt&Osborn....

Of course, The cue start $1 no reserve on ebay are not the top grade cues make in china

At this moment,I don't want to compare between LP and Acuerate.
If fall into LP system,an acuerate without the tech,I think will be 5star+

It same as JohnParris in UK and they made cue like JohnParris.
The Tape like Master & John Parris.
As I know,B'S in china have a new series,the tape same as the old Will Hunt.
But,now the same things...haha
