I just come across these pictures of a cue made by a cue maker in Florida. No idea how he did it! Pretty crazy!. It is all done by hand without any CNC.
Love to see a snooker cue made like this.

The Americans would call those sharp points "half spliced." "Machine spliced" is a term usually reserved for CNC points for pool cues. I dont believe any 9 ball pool cues are built with the UK hand spliced technique (In other words, you will not see a glue line running down the junction between the prongs). If it has round prongs, it is usually butterfly spliced or CNC. But in this case, I am not sure what kind of technique he used, it is puzzling.
