I've a Wilshaw cue, been playing with it for 8 years or so. They're a pretty popular choice in these parts (the potteries) so have seen a fair few. I can honestly say they're very well put together.

The only gripe I've ever found is that the butt diameters can be a little on the skinny side - whether this is characteristic of his work or the of the few I've handled is a matter for debate though.

That aside I honestly have never seen a less than excellent cue from his workshop, thoroughly recommended.

      Steve.

        tony is a nice chap.

i hv a tony wilshaw cue.
        absolutely stunning craftsmanship.
what surprises me was the silk-like finish.
also, he has a good source of wood. the shaft is simply superb~ (mine is a maple)
        highly recommended.

        btw, reasonably priced as well~

I had a Tony Wilshaw cue made to my specs.

Good craftsmanship, really a nice and good looking cue.
          Reasonable price, nice guy.

I'd put them on the same level as Robin, Coutts or Glover.
I am confused... Oh wait... Maybe I'm not...

Did John Higgins use his cue at one point?

How much is say a plain ebony/ash cue regular spec and so on from him?

He shows a picture with John Higgins on his homepage.

I paid around 300 GBP + shipping for ash/ebony with single veneer + splice including mini butt and telescopic extension.

Am I right in thinking he makes cues for Stamford cues? Or is that someone else?
