I've a Wilshaw cue, been playing with it for 8 years or so. They're a pretty popular choice in these parts (the potteries) so have seen a fair few. I can honestly say they're very well put together.
The only gripe I've ever found is that the butt diameters can be a little on the skinny side - whether this is characteristic of his work or the of the few I've handled is a matter for debate though.
That aside I honestly have never seen a less than excellent cue from his workshop, thoroughly recommended.
i hv a tony wilshaw cue.
absolutely stunning craftsmanship.
what surprises me was the silk-like finish.
also, he has a good source of wood. the shaft is simply superb~ (mine is a maple)
highly recommended.
