i have always used 57'' cues
i recently ordered a 57.25 one.

i dont know if i have made the right decision...because i have never tried it.

yes, i know i am not a pro and a mini increase in length wouldnt change my game much.

but i'd really like to know the difference in feel between 57 and 57.25
does it feel a lot more whippier? do u fel that u have to adjust your bridge, the way u hold the butt and so on?

what were your experiences/advice in going through changes in cues?

i very much doubt you will notice a difference, if any thing the change, if any, in balance point of the cue will be more noticable.

i have been using the same cue for years. its an issue with comfort zones u know!!

hey there johnny. dont worry too much about it. i used 57-58 for years. now im using 54-55!!. i will get use to it dont worry.

current on 55 but going down to 54 1/2 - 54 3/4.

before that was using a 54 so its not much to worry about :snooker:

People always talk about having a cue that suits you but I honestly don't think that .25inch will make any difference.

is it purely genuiely a hieght/arm length issue?
or does it feel better? or does the striking of the ball/the stroke feels smoother?
what made you change? how does it feel with a short cue?
