Mike, I think this is excellent. It definitely helps your customer to visualize what they are ordering, and to avoid any possible misunderstanding. It makes the whole ordering experience much more fun, and they can clearly see with their eyes what their cues are going to look like.
I wish there are more cue makers who would go through such great length to make sure their customers are satisfied and are given the oppotunity to choose what they really want.

Sorry everyone..Its been so close for months. Little tiny bugs that would appear and would be a pain to solve. Last night i was nearly in tears of fustration as 1 tiny part of the VCM would simply not work and when i fixed it, it worked but broke everything else.
Hope you all enjoy it....i can relax a bit now for the 1st time in 2 years

I'm a UI designer myself, and I can say without reservation that this is the most elegant cue design applet I've seen (or expect to see). Great work!
I posted a new thread in AzBilliards forum about the VCM:

despite the seriousness of the task, i think for the most part we were like laurel and hardy. me being the fat one who thinks he's clever, and dan doing stupid things, scratching his head, and crying most of the time
