Mike, I think this is excellent. It definitely helps your customer to visualize what they are ordering, and to avoid any possible misunderstanding. It makes the whole ordering experience much more fun, and they can clearly see with their eyes what their cues are going to look like.
I wish there are more cue makers who would go through such great length to make sure their customers are satisfied and are given the oppotunity to choose what they really want.

Sorry everyone..Its been so close for months. Little tiny bugs that would appear and would be a pain to solve. Last night i was nearly in tears of fustration as 1 tiny part of the VCM would simply not work and when i fixed it, it worked but broke everything else.

Hope you all enjoy it....i can relax a bit now for the 1st time in 2 years

Great job, you two! I've been eager to see the VCM since it was in beta test.

I'm a UI designer myself, and I can say without reservation that this is the most elegant cue design applet I've seen (or expect to see). Great work!

I posted a new thread in AzBilliards forum about the VCM:

May it bring you many sales, Mike.

i've gotta say whilst the end result is truly superb, it does not give any clue as to the pain myself and dan have endured.

despite the seriousness of the task, i think for the most part we were like laurel and hardy. me being the fat one who thinks he's clever, and dan doing stupid things, scratching his head, and crying most of the time

i would be very surprised if anyone undertook the task of improving it. good luck if they do...

lol. that was NEVER the intention. i just thought it was a good idea that would make life a little easier for customers and myself to explain or show what we had in our heads.

i don't doubt that it will create interest, but believe me - i don't want any more work

The VCM now looks to be working, it even gives you a nice little quote.

My ideal cue only comes to 935 quid!!!! Not sure some of the pro's would justify that!!
