Good to hear, who is Carl?????? you must be mistaking me for someone else. Maybe someone took the cue we made ?? the cue Andy made for Mike is the twin to mine, I received a picture via email, would have to look who the originator was, that showed the cue with a face splice in ebony and John Parris customised on the logo?? 100 pounds you got a bargain?? I have never been lucky with Will Hunts cues had three of them all less then average, if you know Peter Gilchrist he used to play with a Will Hunt cue that was awful, but he liked it until it got stolen, he now plays with a Chinese maple rack cue he bought in a cue shop in the UK, might have been green baize?? not sure, he plays well with it, I had a good look and a few hits with it not my idea of a good cue. If you get the chance have a look at some of the younger Chinese players cues, a lot of them use Lou Pei's cues, I also have one form him which is excellent, if you are after a good cue at a good price email Lou Pei he is on the net his company is LP Cues, don't listen to others on the forum about other top Chinese cues, Lou is the best, ask Dominik Dale he has one of his cues. You can email me your exact spec. if you have no luck contacting him yourself, and delivery address, and I'll arrange one for you, you will be impressed, cant guarantee that it will make you a better player though?:snooker:

Carl Aranda......lover of fine wines and John Parris Cues!!

Now PLEASE tell me that even if you are NOT Carl Aranda then surely you must know him?

I do know Peter Gilchrist and yes, he did buy a cue from Stu Green last time he was here in the UK.
How is Matthew Bolton playing these days?

What's your name? You must be years out of touch?? If you mean Carl Aranda the engineer who played billiards and snooker and who had or still has ?? some interest in the pool table industry in Oz, he lives in San Francisco, never saw him take a drink, or with a parris cue for that matter, you must obviously know him much better then I do, you could look him up on the SF register for consulting engineers, we bought a load of pool cues etc. from him 6 or so months ago. Yes I do know Matt Bolton, he is on this site you can ask him yourself how he is playing.

Maybe we can help each other? I am looking for a Eureka cue in playable condition, stiff, straight should be standard length and not over 18 Oz, prepared to pay good money for the right cue.

        Cheers
        Joe

I mean Car Aranda the CEO of 'Pooltable Man Pty' and Isargrund Ltd!! Their address is 222 Corncrake Court, Southern River, WA, Perth 6110. The company has been established since 1971 and manufactures all manner of Billiard and Pool Tables and accessories. I believe that Carl Arandas manager was called Joe
Carl certainly loves fine wines, he even sent me wine brochures from Australia to here! He also bought plenty of John Parris cues although I have rarely met someone who critisises them more!!
Carl also breeds German Shepherd dogs.
          Cheers

They continue to make superb hand crafted cues having two of the best cue-makers you will find, wholesale outlet is in Adelaide SA you can contact them under joemastercue@gmail.com
So, Joe, if anyone on the forum wants to contact the two new cue-makers who now work for 'The Pooltableman' (Carl Aranda) in Perth, Australia then they should email YOU at your email address above?

I come across Eureka cues now and again but they are really pricey these days. Let me know your budget and specs and I will let you know if I find anything suitable?

Did you ever meet Horace Lindrum?

                  How's it Mike?

I must admit, I thought JP1 had to be someone linked to Carl too, so you ain't alone on that score.

You still not sold Ricky's old cue yet......Come on lad, what's wrong with you these days.....ha.

Trev, still using Ricky's old cue, best cue I have ever held!! How come I am not knocking in century breaks like Ricky did with the cue. I heard that the first time he used it in a professional match that he had four century breaks in the one match!!

Now, if you can also get me Mark Williams cue, Matthew Stevens cue, Ryans cue.................!!!!

Good show, I hope you enjoy it.

Yes, I heard he did that with the cue you're using also, but that's more to do with Ricky than the cue I'm sure. He's a great player.

I don't think you'd like Marks cue actually, and certainly not the shape and feel of Matthews (although it plays really well).
We both know you'd love Ryans cue though don't we, but you'd have to fight him for it.

Will give you a call later if you're about.

Happy to pass on any requests, still have no name for you?? look forward to hearing from you again when you come across a good example of a Eureka cue. If I did want to sell my Andy Bream would you be interested?
Attach picture of cues we bought recently for our group from The Pooltableman in Adelaide. IMO better then any Andy made for me.

                          My name is Mike.
Sorry, not interested in buying your Bream cue, I already have one that Andy made for me. It even has the walnut face splice that was given to me by Carl.
