Cue Repairer in Hertfordshire/NW London

Hi all, am an keen snooker player and play in the WGC Premier league.
I have a lovely Peradon cue which is about 10 years old now.
Due to wear and tear I need to have a ferrul fitted and tip. The tip would not be a problem on its own, I could fit it, but would not want to do the ferrul!
Does anyone know of or have experience of a good person they can recommend to me? Have searched for a while now with no luck.
Am in Watford, so anywhere in Herts or top side of London really. Do not really want to send it away if I can help it as I used to work for Royal Mail......enough said....

Thanks, I know they are in Sarf London. Thats where I will go if I cannot get anyone closer. But I would rather go 50 miles north than 40 south through London!
Maybe I could send it by courier?

Hi there, im in Oxfordshire. Id happily repair the cue for you. Plus i recommend not using Royal Mail. If you have a paypal account you can send via UPS at www.interparcel.com, they will collect from you and deliver in a day for £8.20.

Being originally from Walthamstow E17!, I prefer not to venture too far Sarf if I can help it!!
My dad has texted me today and has found someone in Ware, Herts, so am waiting to speak to him. But by all means if you have any suggestions........

Just tried to check my PM's and seems I am too new to receive any yet! Shame the Cue Doctor was not closer to me. as I used him about 20 years ago to adjust the weights in my old cue and have a new ferrule. He did a good job.

Hi Roy, it's Jason your teammate! Had me dad, Mike, and Ron on the case so far, but have not seen you for a couple of weeks.

My dad has been in contact with a place called Cue Above the Rest in Ware and they will do it for £20, so may well use them if I cannot find anyone else. Do you know anywhere?
We lost on Wednesday to Welwyn Golf, 4 - 1, only I won!

i was going to pm you that i live up the road to the cue doctor and i work in camden if you wanted and trusted enough ... drop your cue off and i'll get it sorted for ya!!
the real cue doc (gary) has now left and treated him self to a snooker hall in basildon but the young fella that worked for him has taken over the shop and seems to still be doing good things there.
see how things go with your dads fella if not the offer is there!!
