Murphy and Carter I believe both use antique cues. I think Murphy's is a Newman.

I thought Mark Allen used a Hunt and Osbourne. And just recently, I heard on this forum that Marco Fu has changed cues and is currently using a Trevor White.

In watching Hendry at the Grand Prix (on-line that is) I noticed he isn't using an Acuerate any more but I couldn't tell what type of cue it is now as I only managed to watch the Williams match and Hendry was sitting down a lot!

Did anybody go to the Grand Prix and see what kind of cue he's using now?

The Acuerate endorsement contract must have expired although his coach, Chris Henry, is still promoting Acuerate.

I'm pretty sure fu was still using his butterfly spliced cue not his urdu white in the grand prix. I also think hendry was still using his acuerate wasn't he

I hear Mike is stingy and do not give out free cues to anyone.

Been trying to get a Mike cue to try out for months now with no result. Of course, I'm not ordering a custom one, just one of the flawed ones near my specs since I'm cheap and don't like dropping over a 1,000quid on a cue unless I've had a chance to try one and I've never seen one of Mike's cues in Canada.

On the Hendry-Acuerate thing...I only watched him play in the Williams match but from the little I could see it definitely wasn't his Acuerate cue. I couldn't see enough of it to see what kind of cue it was

damn right! i'm happiest helping normal hard working people. not interested in 'sponsoring' for marketing purposes. don't need to.
