        It that Camphor Burl? Coz it seems red,not gold & brown.

          Its not Camphor, Amboyna or Thuya. My guess would be Red Mallee burl.

            Oh...But the color not much like Red Mali Burl.Mali Burl looks more brown.

                Looks more like amboyna to me but then again a lot of burr woods differentiate from piece to piece and also its very difficult to guage from a photo as the lighting probably enhances the colour somewhat.

                    Yep, Thuya burr has my vote also. Looks just like the timber on my cue..

                      I'd have said Mallee burl too, same as Dan, but I KNOW it's a burrwood of some kind ...!
