Cant said so..chinese cues are not famous, doesn't mean they're bad or low quality.
I think most of us do think that there are many potential or great cue makers around that keeps low profile. For example(just example), Uncle Thai, Pooljunkie(Aurora cue), Dan....many more.
The beauty, quality and likeness lies on the hands of the beholder. Each of us has got different opinion on every different cues. For some people, spending on Omin they would better spend a little more for other branded cues. But for me, I like Omin cues. I play with them and find they suite my taste and unclevit(in tsf) has been very helpful to get me a very very good Omin.
Not everyone buy cue then sells it. Resale value are not the first priority. Quality comes first.
Cheers
i am here only talk about the resale value not quality. so ur first sentence was wrong response to my post. did i say they are bad quality? i know at the end u said not everyone buying cue for resale value. i totally agree. people buying chinese cue because their value for money. and they do make good cues.
UT best quality and quick made to measure , no need pay expensive ,no need wait...wait...wait[/QUOTE
standard. same as what the other asian cue makers offer.
For me the UT shaft is the best I have played with. Stiff, just the way i like my cue shafts with the right amount of spring. I do like some of the chinese cues shown on this thread tho. Only to get one here in South africa to try out is very hard.
not getting on this forum or reading every thread doesnot mean i have less cue knowledge than you mate. and making more posts doesnot reflet your cue knowledge either. i just stated a simple fact that resale value of chinese cue are poor. did i say chinese cues are poor qualirty?? or did i say ut cue is poor? any good cue makers can make good cues give them the right material and tools. u cannot say which cue maker is the best because everyone has different taste and feel. u really amazed me mate.

I know some people do make money by selling and buying second hand cues.
For me, I’m not, I just looking for a high quality playing cue, one high quality playing cue for me would be enough!
