The data cue in hand provided for you was done by Tsang sometimes ago, it was not an immediate response to your request. Tsang has been refiniing his deigns for a better result all the time, I'm not sure if his latest products have the same set of measurement. Altogether I got my newly arrived LK.T cue, I don't have the tool and research interest to measure my cue. I found that my cue wasn't that thick at all, although it was by no means close to Mike's or Wilshaw's.
When I feel the cue with my hand, I think the taper is not that straight forward. It has 2 cigar shapes, it gets a little bit slimmer at about 16 inches from the butt end and turns thicker again, it forming an olive shape at 16 to 24 inches from the butt end roughly before getting thinner towards the upper part of the shaft.
I am not a professional cuemaker myself so I only gave you a rough ideas of how LK.T cues look like. My close to JP and TW is only from an ordinary person's concept . If you are really that interested to study the taper of various cuemakers, why don't you send an email toTsang to ask for more?
But I do agree with you that thick taper and slim taper could be good too. It is a matter of taste and habbit really. As long as it goes to the right hand, it becomes a good player of it's owner.
If you like to learn more about LK.T cues, pls keep an eye on the market cos three LK.T cues will land on England in Sept, They were ordered by a wel-known cuemaker and trader.
I quite agreed with what Tsang said, cueinhand. I had so much hesitation about ordering a LK.T when you first mentione it to me. But after I had my hand on LK.T cues when Tsang brought them to Hong Kong, The hit feel spoke for itself.
I was given some links to brother4 website but couldn't find any LKT cues on there and I can't find any information in English on these cues, especially pricing.
How does one get to see some cues and prices and order in English. Does Tsang have an english speaking rep somewhere?

I spoke with LK.T this morning, they will try the best to set up an English version ASAP.
Tell Tsang I for one would very likely purchase a cue as a trial if I was able to access an English website. I wouldn't buy a top of the line cue right away but a decent one to see how I like the make and then if I REALLY like it I would likely order a very good one.

LK.T have 2 orders from your country, and will be finished by the end of this month.
Let me show you the picture once it's finish.
I have a customer who also has a LK.T cue. He is from Hong Kong and said he paid a bit more than $8000 HK dollars for it.
Not sure how much it is in pounds or US dollars though.
No real budget in mind but I would like a decent example of his cues along with the short and long extensions and postage. Do not need a case and would prefer 3/4-joint.
Is there someone who I can give my specs to and who can come back with a price on a matching LK.T cue?
I think a good cue in the 300 to 400pounds range including extensions would be fair but I don't know what he charges so I might be shooting myself in the foot here by quoting too high.

Perhaps brother 4 can get you a price quote, he is the dealer of LK.T in Hong Kong I believe.
Good luck.
