Robin Cook. Great guy, great cues, great customer service... Simply great experience doing a business with him
You cannot improve your game if you don't have a cue and snooker table

        well....
I got a quote from one of the best cuemakers ( in Belarus). His cues start at 350 and go up to smth like 1500-1800 ( depends on the wood and the amount of splices).
For the best russian cuemakers prices start aroun 500 and go up to 2500-3000.
the cues on the pictures will be from 400 up to 2000 (for the really fancy one with splices made like a crown).
but usually you can get a very good custom cue for smth about 400-600 and you are going to be extremely happy with it!

Quite expensive don't you think? But then again there are a lot of splices on those cues And those cue makers are only making cues for russian pyramid?

Yeah... They are expensive because of splices and wood. You can get a nice cue for about 300 - 400 too but made of a cheaper wood.
I won't speak for all of them but the ones I know can make you a pool cue too.But I don't think it's a good idea...Beause you see, in Russian Pyramid the ball are way heavier and bigger. So the cuemakers use harder wood for their cues...I've met some pro and they said that these cues are perfect for breaking. But you never know man they might be perfect as playing cue too!
            I've never had one though...
But I was thinking about it.I'm sure I'll buy one eventually! ))))))))))

New question from me What is the main difference between stiff cue and a whippy one?

But as I am playing national pool league I have decided that I need to buy another cue this time for pool. So suddenly I have 3 custom cues(from same cue maker) and I have realized that I am just making excuses to order a new one Anyone with the same problem?
I am just amazed with the quality of the cues and I really enjoy having some nice cues Anyone with same experience?
                            That becomes my habit already
