  • pot black cues?

Hi i was just wondering what people thought about pot black cues. ive seen a few of them around, and they seem really nice, but i never hear people talk about them much.

anyways, i was considering buying this for a friend n am not sure if its worth it for under 150. what do u guys think?

I'm from Australia too and have seen a few of those cues. Some of the older Pot Black cues did have nice english ash more than 10 yrs ago but I've seen some with cheaper ash that I wouldn't waste $50 on. I think the more expensive models had the advantage of being oil and wax finished, rather than lacquered like Powerglide and Barracuda.

If you do get a good responsive peice of english ash for under A$150 I'd say it's a bargain, but it's a gamble. Personally I wouldn't buy a second hand cue of that brand without seeing it first.
    Tear up that manure-fed astroturf!
