  • Ordered a snookercue from Mike Wooldridge today:D

Yes! Finally I took the big step and ordered a Black Shark snookercue from Mike Wooldridge

I've read the Black Shark reveiw thread and I saw lots of positive experiences with it So, in 1 to 3 weeks I have the cue in my hands

I can't literally, wait for it it's going to be so awesome to become an owner of a Mike Wooldridge snookercue and I think the cue will improve my game also (have only been playing with low budget cues so far)

I will have to say you have to play with a cue to get used to it, practice and im sure it will not disappoint !
A great cue will take you so far but you have to do the rest i hope my review helped.

Just bought myself a 15 year old John Parris classic cue - looks and feels gorgeous - are you saying a good cue doesnt pot the balls for you ?

        I wish they would! lol

I have to say again the quality and the feel with this new joint are just great!

And i was told this new joint is in all his new cue's, so any custom model will look just like a one piece too.

i think there is an effect, a psychological one. one that mainly has to do with confidence. it really helps with getting the mind focus.

not that it doesnt help pot balls, but it does help improving the game.
a good cue also means good specs too, ie weight and balance. these things do have a contributing factor.

Of course I must practise but it is true that a handmade cue is better than a standard cue, right? The feeling must be much better

there's only 1 way to improve your game practice. its good to have a cue that can preform all the shots and you can have confidence in. but you have to know how to play the shots 1st.

I also ordered a Black Shark cue and it just arrived today. I was immediately impressed with the fit/finish and feel. I played with it tonight and after a few frames it felt like I had been playing with it for years. I especially liked the air joint and how the cue felt very much like a one-piece. Good luck with Black Shark and hopefully it has already arrived.

I got a quote back from Mike and was about to make payment. He said he had to setup a link for me for credit card payment...however, I didn't hear anything back for the next couple days. I emailed him again, but got no response.
Then I realized VCM was down again. so I ain't sure he is too busy dealing with the system or what.
