  • My new stamford cue

    spec

    Shaft Ash
    Butt Ebony
    Cue 1 PC
    Series Series 1
    Length 135cm without the tip and then the tip will make it up to just under 136cm
    Weight 510-513 grams
    Tip size 9.5 mm
    Butt size 28-29 mm diameter
    Butt pattern Four splices with four small splice all with (from the butt, first veneer in orange, and second in red)









    End result: it is very close to my original spec. It feels good, and it improves my game.

      In your case, is that a mini mini butt to go in the end of your 'normal' mini butt ???

          you are correct, there is a join on the 6" extension. Special request from me since the cue is short. I can use double extensions :->

                  Yes - 135cm or about 53 inches is very short for a cue - probably a long way off (if at all !) but you may have trouble selling it on

                        "Natural" finishes? Can you explain more about that? Anyway, nice cues produced by Stamford. Would love to have 1 in my collection someday...

                          Pretty much no finish is what I mean. At least that is what I ahve heard on this forum previosly about the finish on Stamford cues. Omin's have an oil finish, while other cues have beeswax.

                            Natural finishes should be better, eyh?

                              natural means oil and or wax rather than some form of varnish.
