Hi guys.
I recently fitted a new tip to my cue and after taking the old one off I noticed that the top of my ferrule was not perfectly flat. It seems to taper off quite noticeably on one side, perhaps where I have sanded too much before or something. Now when I look at the new tip on there, My eye is immediately drawn to the gap between the tip and the ferrule, it does look quite shoddy!
My question is, does it matter?! Does the top of your ferrule have to be flat or is it just aesthetics and I'm worrying over nothing?!
Tried searching the other threads, didn't see anything similar in there!
Thanks in advance chaps(and chappetes!)!
