Who says he'll do you one for 200... I put him above that purely due to the quality of his work.

If money is not the case, I may try TW. But since I have tight budget, and still wanting to have a good shaft, good playing cue, I will go for Omin, M/C, or UT cues
              It's in the Shaft

What about that cue made with gold and platinum or something like that. I dont remember the name but it was like Arthur or something. Very expensive I remember. No one would buy that if money was no object?

I personally think I will try to find some 1st edition Ye Olde Ash and may be some very early cues made in the early 80's or so, and have a little collection.

Pool cue can go for a lot of money--but for snooker cues, it seems that even the very expensive ones are not really that expensive. Therefore, if money is no object, I would use that to feel, try out, and hopefully preserve as many unique and rare early cues as I can.

                    £200 and under
                    cue from dan

                    £00 -400
                    MW cue

                    400+ hunt & Osbourne

                    no object?

wouldnt spend over the odds anyhow, if a cue was 25 quid and suited and played well with it i would have it -i would buy the table and extension to the house to go with it though

hi poojunkie its not how much you pay for a cue its the feel of a cue look at Stephen Hendry when he started he paid gbp 40 for his cue and won millions. Leonard from Canada

                        Yes, that is the one.
I personally would not spend my money on something like that, but I am just curious.
By the way, will the metal inlays raise over time?

Yes, i see what you are saying. By the way, I thought Hendry's cue was about 135 GBP?

                                1) probs an omin.
                                2) probs a top of the line mastercraft
                                3) probs a MW.
                                4) might hunt down a cuemaker, and pay him large amounts of money, for him to teach me how to make my own cue. then i can make one for myself. a cue that would be priceless
