Wilshaw cue reworked by Dan Shelton

Just had an old 3/4 Tony Wilshaw overhauled by Dan Shelton and i can honestly say the finished cue is perfect.
He carried out the following;
remove over an 1 3/4'' from the tip end to make the ferrul 9.7mm and retaper
added 4 splices of striped ebony
rebalanced at 17 1/2''
fitt butt joint and mini butt.....
after all that he discovered that the was a split below the 3/4 joint so this was repaired....i will add photos later......
I played with the cue today and the feeling and response is just right, the shaft is old english ash and it looks so good ( a rich honey colour).

No. Its the UK made Mastercraft joint. I do have S.D joins now aswell as UK made Spiroloc which are different to Thai made (Omin) Spiral Lock.

Friend of mine works for Renault F1 and he came over and saw some joints after he looked at the workshop and said he can do some. So currently its in the discussion process.
