WANTED: Snooker style 9-ball cue

I'm a snooker player but have just taken up 9-ball and will be playing on the GB9 next season. Like a lot of snooker players I dont like traditional american pool cues. Does anyone have, or know anyone that is selling a custon made snooker style american pool cue.

I realise it's not very likely but thought it was worth asking

Can you not just ask any of the cuemakers for a cue with an 11mm+ tip? I believe I have heard of Robin Cook doing this in particular. http://www.robincues.co.uk/

Just shoot off a few emails for quotes. The worst they can do is say no!

I know craftsman cues make them as i have a couple of friends who have them, I ve looked around for one as i had the same opinion as you, however after using 1 and then getting to grips with a preditor shaft, i honestly believe that 9 ball is ALOT easier once you get to grips with a predget ! You just so much more recaction with alot less effort.

Osbourne dont do them, neither do they go below an 8.8 mm tip for those whippy 8 ballers!

Robin is making pool cues.. I have ordered one with 12.5 mm tip...

John Parris and Stamford Cuemakers can do this job, esp Stamford, they have very nice maple in stock, cheers

Ask Bitter he could probably get one knocked up for you at a good price.

If money is no problem Mike Wooldridge might do one but i do know he's busy at the moment.
