Haha I get the feeling i'll be in the same boat! What are you currently using? I'm sick of getting bad contacts with half butts, hence the need for a telescopic extension! Thanks for all the help by the way.

Hey no probs mate - happy to help! I've currently got a 2 piece and a leather 'tube' style case with a shoulder strap. Looked pretty cool back in 1998, but a bit tacky now Telescopic extension that screws into the base of your cue are the way forward I think.

Definitely! And the mini butt will be really helpful too, when I stick my 3rd piece onto my cue its just too long to use naturally.

the important thing is the cue and to be honest you are spending too much for a cheap cue and slightly too little for a good one.

Been looking at a couple that have been recommended - The Craftsman Victor & The Peradon Edwardian. Probably gonna go for the Craftsman as I read the weighting of Edwardian is further towards the back making it a bit unbalanced. Anybody got any experience of the Victor?

I have a Victor cue, I think it is the bees knees I got it on a family recomendation (my girlfriends cousin has one for pool - 8.5mm tip though, I got the 9.7mm tip)
It might be cheap in price but it is as good (imo) as any more expensive cue out there and I have tried a few down the club
