I've never been a fan of having 4 olivewood splices, however the cue Dan restored recnetly I liked a lot.

Im not a particularly big fan of olivewood either, but i like the look of this cue

Nice figure and good contrast of colour. Older trees have darker lines throught the piece.

Yeah that looks nice, I definetly think you need a dark contrast to go with the Olivewood.
