Try Rex leisure, Howard St Glasgow, next door to Slaters.
Think it's still trading but don't know if they stock Peradons

Can you let me know if you find anywhere? I'd like to find somewhere I can "try before I buy". I live in Edinburgh and my local shop has closed down. They had a few John Parris on display but I dithered about for too long making my mind up and the shop closed.

I don't know if you ever found anything, but in case you didn't, here is a link to Gordon Bayne's site: http://www.cues-cuecases.co.uk/index.htm

Gordon's an ex Scottish amateur champion (I think) and, if he's still in business (he has health problems) he has a nice selection of cues you can have a look at: Master Cue, Peradon, O'Min etc. You might even be able to meet him at a club where you can try out a few cues, if he has your spec in stock.

I don't remember Gordon winning the Scottish but he certainly had some nice cues last I saw, he's good to deal with. Also Richy Mcdonald ex pro got a lot of the stock out the Rex shop I heard. He'll definately let you try, he's the doctor on here.

Paul Preston in Motherwell has a lot of good cues if you pm me I'll send his number.

ADR147 is a good guy but based in Perth.

Not sure if I would buy a peradon though.

Keith, you seem a nice guy. It's not a bad thing you're out of the country if you love snooker!

Anyway any of the guys I mention above can supply quality cues.
