Cue Advice for Average Player

dpdubai Any chance of a photo/ or some details of the spec? I paid £135 for my Mastercraft and am very happy but would be interested why you think Welsh Pool are better. I'm going to buy myself another cue (probably Ash) and am still trying to make my mind up who to place my order with. I didn't like the design of any of the WW cues I saw on e-bay.

not a fan of the standard cues myself however, you can always ask for a custom made one to your design

dpdubai Thanks for the info on your spec. I like the idea of the joint and the balance point at 16". My ideal spec is slightly different from yours. Bit longer at 57.5". Bit lighter at 17.5ozs and I prefer a 9.75mm tip.
I think I prefer the splices/veneers on the Mastercraft website but I daresay WW can do something similar if asked. Both cuemakers look to produce good quality cues at reasonable prices.
I'm also going to look at the Thai cues (Unclevit on this site) as they look quite good value for money. Cheers.
