Did he order it from John himself or buy it from a friend of a friend? I think there's alot of dodgy fakes getting around down under. Two of my mates have one each, paid $180 for a "genuine" JP, but in the end they don't really care because it they were cheaper than a Barracuda gold medal, or anything else getting around so they're like bahhh.
But then i can't 100% say i've held a genuine JP so maby his quality isnt all it's cracked up to be.
my friend odered from JP website, should be 100% genuine. Not only me, when other people tried it, they said the same thing.
