My new cue finally arrived :D

Wooohooo, what a surprise! Didn't know post came on Sundays during xmas!
I'm so pleased with it! Exactly what I asked Dave for.. ebony butt, 4 secondary ebony splicings with maple veneers. Imo so sexy and stylish without been over the top. Matching mini-butt, airlock joints all over, and telescopic extension. Splicings line up perfectly, ferrule is fitted perfectly and the ash grain is incredibly straight all the way along! Can't believe it for the kind of prices Mastercraft charge! Only bad thing is the case I have is about 2 inches too short to fit the mini-butt, but it's no biggie, just will carry it in a separate bag during competition.. hopefully get a chance to play with it in the next few days, should be a big step up from this 2 piece Riley cue I've been making do with (only been playing snooker for just over a year.. made a 58 with that POS though ) and hope this will help me improve further.

do post up after playing with it. I am about to get myself a new cue too. Have been playing(on and off) for the last 10 years with a handmade Omin. Am thinking it is time for me to get another cue.

lawrywild...congrats with your new mastercraft cue. What is the exact length of your tele-ext anyway? Looks to me a bit longer than the standard length (21")...

Yeah not sure exactly, left my tape measure in my flat, mastercraft website says it's 29". I don't really need it so big tbh as I'm over 6' but it means that I can screw it directly into the shaft instead of the butt and still reach the whole table..

I just wanted to know, how long it took you to get everything aranged and receive the cue to your hands, i was also wondering if that badge of yours with your name came with any other extra costs, or because it only came to speciel people like yourself.

Hey, thank you it plays really nice too It was around 8 weeks wait, but that was during the run up to Christmas. The badges were extra cost, I think £10 for badges on both the cue and mini-butt, just ask Dave for them
